As a Senior I&C Engineer, you will lead the instrumentation and control engineering scope for offshore oil & gas FEED and EPC projects. Responsible for technical quality, design compliance, and cross-discipline coordination throughout all project phases.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead I&C engineering deliverables including cause & effect matrices, instrument datasheets, hook-up drawings, and control narratives
  • Develop and review Instrument Index, I/O lists, Functional Design Specifications (FDS), and loop diagrams
  • Oversee the design and specification of safety instrumented systems (SIS) and Emergency Shutdown (ESD) systems
  • Coordinate with process, electrical, and safety disciplines on instrumentation requirements
  • Manage technical bid evaluations and vendor document reviews for instrumentation packages
  • Ensure compliance with IEC 61511, ISA, and project-specific standards
  • Review and approve SIL assessments and functional safety documentation
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior I&C engineers

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Control Engineering
  • 13+ years of experience in I&C engineering for offshore or onshore oil & gas projects
  • Proficiency in Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI/INtools) or equivalent tools
  • Strong knowledge of SIS design, SIL verification, and IEC 61511 / IEC 61508
  • Familiarity with DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems
  • Experience with ADNOC or GCC region projects is a strong advantage
  • Excellent communication and team leadership capabilities
