The BIM Modeler (Architectural & Structural) will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing detailed 3D BIM models for both architectural and structural elements, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and compliance with project standards. The candidate should be proficient in Revit and have solid experience preparing shop drawings and construction documents derived from BIM models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for both architectural and structural disciplines using Autodesk Revit
- Prepare shop drawings, sections, elevations, and schedules extracted directly from the BIM model.
- Coordinate with MEP, architectural, and structural teams to ensure model consistency and resolve clashes.
- Conduct clash detection and prepare coordination reports using Navisworks Manage.
- Ensure models align with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), LOD requirements, and company BIM standards.
- Implement model updates and revisions according to site or design change
- Support design and engineering teams in producing IFC, tender, and as-built drawings.
- Maintain a well-structured Revit model with clear naming conventions and workset management.
- Participate in internal and client BIM coordination meetings.
Key Qualification:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in BIM-based projects (Design & Build preferred)
- Proven experience in large-scale infrastructure or building projects
- Autodesk Revit (Architecture & Structure) Advanced level
- Navisworks Manage / Simulate for coordination and clash detection
- AutoCAD for 2D detailing and documentation
- Good understanding of BIM Level 2 / ISO 19650 standards
- Strong knowledge of construction details, building materials, and structural systems (RC & Steel)
- Ability to interpret and coordinate with engineering and architectural drawings
