CIVIL ENGINEER

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for executing civil engineering activities during the engineering phase (FEED, Detailed Engineering, or Detailed Design) of onshore oil and gas projects. The role includes preparing designs, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation while ensuring compliance with client standards, local regulations, and international engineering codes. The candidate must be immediately available and capable of working within multidisciplinary project teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and deliver civil engineering designs for onshore oil and gas facilities, including foundations, drainage systems, roads, hardstanding areas, and structural supports.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, design calculations, and other engineering documentation for FEED and Detailed Design phases.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation) to ensure design integration and consistency.
• Review vendor drawings, data sheets, and technical documents, implementing approved changes as required.
• Conduct technical assessments, feasibility studies, and value engineering exercises to support project execution.
• Ensure all engineering deliverables comply with client standards, UAE regulations, and international best practices.
• Provide support during engineering reviews, technical audits, and project meetings.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in FEED, Detailed Engineering, or Detailed Design for onshore oil and gas projects.
• Familiarity with client standards, engineering codes, and international civil engineering practices.
• Proficient in civil engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
• Immediate availability in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
