MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform heat load calculations using HAP and other relevant software for HVAC system design and verification.
• Prepare, review, and validate mechanical shop drawings including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and related MEP systems.
• Coordinate closely with drafting teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely submission of drawings.
• Provide technical guidance to draftsmen and ensure proper implementation of design intent in shop drawings.
• Review project specifications, design drawings, and BOQs to ensure technical compliance.
• Participate in coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and other disciplines to resolve technical and design issues.
• Ensure all mechanical designs and drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Support site teams with technical clarifications and resolve engineering-related issues during execution

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in HVAC design and heat load calculations using HAP software.
• Strong hands-on capability in mechanical drafting and preparation of shop drawings.
• Solid experience in coordinating with drafting teams and other MEP disciplines.
• Good understanding of international codes and standards related to HVAC and MEP systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
