SENIOR PIPING ENGINEER

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Piping Engineer with 12-20 years of expertise to join our engineering team for a major offshore oil and gas project in Al Khobar, KSA. The ideal candidate will lead piping engineering activities and provide technical direction throughout the FEED and Detailed Engineering phases while ensuring compliance with Saudi Aramco requirements and international standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage all piping engineering activities for offshore platforms, jackets, topsides, and associated facilities.
• Develop piping design basis, philosophies, material specifications, and critical engineering deliverables.
• Review and approve piping layouts, line routing studies, stress analysis reports, and piping deliverables generated by the engineering team.
• Ensure piping systems are designed for safety, operability, maintainability, and constructability.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering interfaces and resolve complex technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to piping engineers and designers.
• Review vendor documentation and ensure proper integration of package equipment requirements into piping design.
• Participate in HAZOPs, design reviews, model reviews, constructability assessments, and client meetings.
• Interface directly with Saudi Aramco representatives and ensure compliance with SAES, SAMSS, and project specifications.
• Support procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities by providing timely engineering solutions.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• 12-20 years of experience in piping engineering for offshore oil and gas EPC projects.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in offshore facilities including platforms, jackets, subsea tie-ins, and brownfield modification projects.
• Proven experience leading piping engineering teams on major EPC projects, preferably for Saudi Aramco.
• Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3, API standards, offshore piping practices, and Saudi Aramco engineering standards.
• Demonstrated experience in FEED, Detailed Engineering, and execution support phases.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills.
• Must be willing to work in Al Khobar, KSA.
