OFFSHORE STRUCTURAL DESIGNER

As an Offshore Structural Designer, you will be responsible for producing structural design drawings and 3D models for offshore oil & gas EPC projects. This role involves supporting engineers and senior designers by delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality design outputs in line with project standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare structural arrangement, general arrangement (GA), detail, and fabrication drawings using CAD and 3D tools
• Develop and maintain 3D structural models using PDMS, SP3D, TEKLA, or equivalent software
• Perform clash detection and ensure coordination with piping, mechanical, and other discipline models
• Incorporate design changes, redlines, and markups received from engineers and clients
• Support generation and maintenance of drawing registers and document control systems
• Carry out quantity take-offs (MTOs) and prepare material lists as required
• Participate in 3D model reviews, design reviews, and interdisciplinary coordination meetings
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and quality requirements
• Assist engineers in preparing deliverables and resolving design-related issues
• Maintain consistency, accuracy, and timely delivery of all assigned design outputs

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering, Drafting, or equivalent (preferred)
• 8+ years of experience in structural design/drafting within offshore oil & gas EPC projects
• Proficiency in PDMS, SP3D, AutoCAD, TEKLA, or equivalent 3D/CAD tools
• Good understanding of offshore structural components such as jackets, decks, and modules
• Familiarity with structural drawings, fabrication details, and layout conventions
• Experience in clash detection and multi-discipline coordination
• Basic knowledge of material take-offs and structural quantities
• Strong coordination, communication, and teamwork skills
