Infrastructure BIM Coordinator is responsible for managing, coordinating, and implementing BIM processes across infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with project requirements, standards, and client expectations. This role bridges design, engineering, and construction teams to deliver accurate, coordinated, and clash-free BIM models for infrastructure works such as roads, utilities, drainage

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage BIM workflows for infrastructure projects (roads and utilities).

  • Develop, review, and maintain 3D models in accordance with project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and standards.

  • Ensure proper setup, management, and quality control of federated BIM models.

  • Conduct clash detection, coordination meetings, and resolve design conflicts between disciplines (civil, structural, MEP, utilities).
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders to align BIM deliverables with project requirements.
  • Support the creation and management of 2D drawings, 3D models, and 4D/5D simulations (time & cost integration).
  • Manage model versioning, updates, and compliance with ISO 19650 and project BIM protocols.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams regarding BIM software (Autodesk Civil 3D, Navisworks).
  • Assist in developing and maintaining BIM documentation, including BEPs, model audit reports, and data exchange protocols.
  • Ensure accurate as-built models are delivered for project handover and facility management.

Key Qualification:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

  • Minimum 5-8 years experience in BIM coordination for infrastructure projects.

  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure design and construction processes.

  • Proficiency in BIM software - 

    Autodesk Civil 3D, Navisworks, 
  • Experience with Common Data Environments (CDE) such as BIM 360, ProjectWise, or Aconex.

  • Understanding of international BIM standards (ISO 19650, PAS 1192).

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

  • Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and disciplines.

  • Knowledge of 4D (schedule) and 5D (cost) BIM applications is an advantage.

  • Strong reporting, documentation, and presentation skills.
