ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTSMAN (FITOUT EXPERIENCE)

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman with a strong background in interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing precise technical drawings and detailed shop drawings for the execution of interior works, including joinery, partitions, ceilings, finishes, and furniture. You will work closely with architects, designers, engineers, and site teams to translate design intent into fully coordinated technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed architectural and interior fit-out drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, RCPs, and details
• Develop shop drawings for joinery, cabinetry, partitions, false ceilings, wall finishes, and custom furniture.
• Revise drawings based on design changes, coordination feedback, and site conditions.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, codes, and client standards
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, MEP engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate and clash-free drawings.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings based on redlines and site measurements.
• Work closely with the site team to resolve discrepancies between drawings and on-site conditions
• Follow company CAD standards, layer management, and drawing naming conventions.
• Ensure high-quality presentation and technical accuracy of all drawings.
• Maintain up-to-date drawing registers and documentation control.
  

Key Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Architectural Drafting, Architecture, or related field.
• 3 to5 years of experience in architectural drafting, with a focus on interior fit-out projects.
• Experience in hospitality, retail, commercial, or high-end residential interiors.
• Familiar with BIM workflows or coordination in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Basic site experience or knowledge of fit-out installation practices is a plus
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or 3D tools is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of construction detailing, joinery, material finishes, and fit-out components.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Attention to detail, good time management, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with local building codes and interior design standards is preferred.
