BIM MANAGER
About the job BIM MANAGER
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the BIM process across all project phases, from concept to handover.
- Develop, implement, and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP) in alignment with project requirements and client standards.
- Manage and coordinate LOD 400 and LOD 500 models across all disciplines.
- Ensure COBie data is accurately embedded and maintained for asset information delivery.
- Supervise and guide the BIM team, ensuring quality control and adherence to standards.
- Facilitate clash detection, model audits, and design coordination using industry-standard tools (Revit, Navisworks, etc.).
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth integration of BIM workflows.
- Provide training, mentoring, and technical support to BIM staff.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to align BIM deliverables with project objectives.
- Oversee data management, model sharing, and version control protocols.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a BIM management role.
- Proven expertise in LOD 400 & 500 modeling standards and COBie requirements.
- Prior experience in Design & Build projects will be an advantage.
- Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM-related software.
- Strong understanding of BIM standards (ISO 19650 or equivalent).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- BIM Certification or equivalent credentials.
- Experience in infrastructure and building projects.
