About the job SENIOR ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEER
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architectural Engineer to lead and manage architectural engineering aspects across complex building and interior projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of architectural design, engineering coordination, construction technologies, and building systems. You will oversee design development, technical detailing, code compliance, and interdisciplinary coordination to ensure high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the design development and technical documentation of architectural projects from concept through construction
- Review and validate architectural and engineering drawings, ensuring coordination with structural, MEP, and other disciplines.
- Ensure design solutions comply with building codes, local regulations, and sustainability standards

Develop and review detailed construction drawings, specifications, and BOQ.
- Serve as a key liaison between the architectural team, clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Coordinate with MEP, structural, civil, and landscape teams to resolve design and technical issues.

Participate in project meetings, site inspections, and design reviews.
- Provide technical support during construction, including RFIs, submittal reviews, and shop drawing coordination.
- Conduct site visits to monitor architectural works for quality, design intent, and compliance.
- Evaluate material samples, mockups, and prototypes.
- Ensure adherence to QA/QC procedures, internal design standards, and project delivery protocols.

Review documentation for completeness, constructability, and accuracy.

Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior architects and drafters.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering
- Minimum 7to10 years of professional experience, with proven track record in large-scale architectural or interior fit-out projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM tools; knowledge of Navisworks, Bluebeam, or SketchUp is a plus.
- Deep understanding of construction detailing, building materials, façade systems, joinery, and finishes.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) is a plus
- Strong knowledge of building codes, standards (e.g., IBC, ADA, local regulations), and sustainability practices (LEED or equivalent is a plus).
