ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

We are currently looking for a qualified Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team in Dubai for an onshore oil and gas project. The ideal candidate will contribute to the FEED and Detailed Design phases and must have prior experience working on ADNOC projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the preparation and development of electrical engineering deliverables including SLDs, load lists, cable sizing, equipment layouts, and interconnection diagrams.
• Ensure all designs comply with ADNOC standards and relevant international codes (IEC, IEEE, NEC).
• Support in preparing technical specifications, datasheets, and material requisitions for electrical equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth integration of electrical systems.
• Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and resolution of TQs (Technical Queries).
• Review vendor documents and drawings for compliance with project requirements.
• Maintain documentation and track revisions throughout the engineering phase.
• Ensure safe design practices are followed and participate in HSE-related design reviews as needed.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical engineering within the onshore oil and gas sector.
• Hands-on experience with ADNOC projects is mandatory.
• Proficient in electrical design software such as ETAP, AutoCAD, and other relevant tools.
• Familiar with ADNOC engineering practices, specifications, and approval workflows.
• Strong organizational, communication, and team collaboration skills.
