  • Collaborate with structural, thermal, and systems engineers to ensure design optimization under extreme conditions.
  • Oversee CAD modeling, FEA analysis, and tolerance stack-up for high-speed flight components.
  • Review and approve mechanical drawings, specifications, and BoMs in accordance with MIL and DRDO standards.
  • Coordinate with DRDO agencies, vendors, and internal teams for design validation, prototyping, and field trials.
  • Manage technical documentation including design reports, DVP&R, FMEA, and compliance to AS9100/ISRO/DRDO standards.
  • Lead root cause analysis and design iterations based on test feedback (ground tests, wind tunnel, environmental testing).
  • Support technology transfer, manufacturing scale-up, and production readiness activities.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to strategic planning of new mechanical initiatives.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
