We are seeking an experienced GUR Project Manager to lead a strategic bi-lateral aerospace defense program focused on the development, testing, and production of advanced flight systems. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership in defense projects, and the ability to foster productive international cooperation between partner organizations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of the GUR project including development, testing, and production phases.
  • Manage cross-functional teams in disciplines such as propulsion, aerodynamics, avionics, guidance & control, and flight systems.
  • Establish and maintain effective bi-lateral cooperation between partnering nations and organizations.
  • Foster a collaborative and professional working environment across cultural and institutional boundaries.
  • Ensure adherence to all project timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
  • Act as the central point of coordination for all technical and managerial aspects.
  • Deliver regular status updates and strategic reports to stakeholders and leadership.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BSc. in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
  • Over 10 years of project management experience in defense aerospace, with preference for expertise in rocketry or high-speed flight systems.
  • Strong technical background in at least some of the following areas: Ground launch systems, Flight mechanisms, Aerodynamics, Guidance and control systems, Avionics, Flight testing
  • Experience working with or within defense R&D agencies such as: DRDO , ISRO (Launch vehicle systems), PINAKA MRL development or similar programs
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-national defense collaboration projects.
  • Skilled in building strong partnerships, resolving conflicts, and sustaining long-term cooperation.
