PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Facade Site Manager to plan construction projects and oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation and scheduling of the projects.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Read/deal with project-program and extract/establish an execution plan and site monitoring tracker/s.
  • Create and ensure the implementation of procedure/s related to site: Logistic process, Survey works, and Installation activities.
  • Supervise a direct reporting staff/group (in-house) while coordinating with the project stakeholders, Main Contractor, Consultant, and Planning.
  • Present/attend/lead Site-progress meetings.
  • Implement and maintain HSE Systems, procedures & monitoring thru HSE Officer/s.
  • Generate method statements in coordination with the related divisions, Quality, Safety and Technical Dept.
  • Create/maintain proper record/log about unforeseen incidents and notify about delays/obstruction.
  • Manage/maintain the projects assists through a storekeeper and site staff.
  • Select & optimize required access system for façade execution.

KEY SKILLS:

  • Hold BSc certificate engineering.
  • Has 7 years min. Façade experience Mainly glazing & metal cladding systems.
  • Executed (with completion) at least one high scale project as Site Manager from beginning till the completion stage.
  • Has an acceptable level of communicate - English language: reading, writing & speaking.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Able to work: Day/Night or Mid shift whenever its required.
  • Has an acceptable knowledge level about basic/essential related software: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, AutoCAD, Aconex
  • Able to read Façade designs drawings.
  • Familiar with Façades Project-specification.
  • Knowledgeable about Façade technical details and common related materials/practices to façade.
  • Knowledgeable about Façades access and applicable codes.
  • Candidates MUST be Immediately available and currently based in the UAE
