MECHANICAL MODELER

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage detailed 3D mechanical models (HVAC, plumbing, piping) in Revit in coordination with other disciplines.
  
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks Manage; resolve issues proactively through coordination meetings.
  
• Interpret mechanical engineering drawings and specifications and convert them into accurate BIM models.
  
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other MEP disciplines to produce coordinated construction documents.
  
• Maintain and update BIM models throughout project phases, ensuring all changes are accurately documented.
  
• Create and manage parametric Revit families and maintain model integrity according to BIM standards.
  
• Support project teams with BIM-related tasks, including shop drawing extraction and quantity take-offs.
  
• Assist in developing and enforcing BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project-specific modeling stand.
  

Key Qualifications: 

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field.
  
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical BIM modeling for MEP systems.
  
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP) and Navisworks Manage is essential.
  
• Strong understanding of mechanical system design, layout, and coordination.
• Experience working on large-scale commercial, healthcare, or industrial projects is a plus.
  
• Ability to interpret construction documents and work collaboratively in multidisciplinary environments.
  
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
