Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems including HVAC, 

    plumbing, and fire fighting at site.
  • Review mechanical drawings, technical submittals, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications and design intent.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth site execution and resolve technical issues.

  • Monitor daily site activities, ensure work is executed as per approved method statements, and ensure safety and quality standards are maintained.

  • Attend project coordination meetings, site inspections, and testing activities with consultants, clients, and authorities.

  • Verify material deliveries and ensure they are in accordance with approved material submittals and project requirements.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure progress and workmanship meet required standards and project timelines.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and maintain records of site activities and inspections.

  • Support project close-out activities, including testing, commissioning, snagging, and preparation of as-built documentation.


Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Minimum of 8+ years of site experience in mechanical works within the construction industry, ideally in the UAE or GCC.

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems, including installation, testing, and commissioning practices.

  • Familiarity with GCC construction codes, ASHRAE standards, and local authority regulations (e.g., DM, ADDC, DEWA, Civil Defense).

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and specifications.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced construction environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic AutoCAD; working knowledge of project tracking and reporting tools is a plus.
