About the job PROJECT CONTROL MANAGER
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Project controls manager oversees construction and engineering projects to make sure the team makes progress and meets goals. As a project controls manager, your duties include project planning, scheduling planning meetings and progress check-ins, estimating and monitoring project costs, sticking to a budget, and reviewing project quality compared to the desired objective.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain the project controls plan and associated procedure
- Implement and maintain the project schedule, including resource loading, critical path analysis, and progress monitoring
Manage project budgets, track costs, and prepare financial forecasts
Monitor and manage project risks, including the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks and opportunities
Ensure accurate and timely project reporting to stakeholders, including progress updates, cost reports, and risk registers
Lead and mentor a team of project controls professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
At least 15 years of experience in project controls in the Construction industry, with a track record of successful project delivery- Candidates MUST be immediately available
- Strong understanding of project management principles, practices, and tools, including scheduling, cost control, risk management, and reporting
- Knowledge of Construction safety and security requirements and regulations
Experience in managing a team of project controls professionals
