PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Project controls manager oversees construction and engineering projects to make sure the team makes progress and meets goals. As a project controls manager, your duties include project planning, scheduling planning meetings and progress check-ins, estimating and monitoring project costs, sticking to a budget, and reviewing project quality compared to the desired objective.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain the project controls plan and associated procedure
  • Implement and maintain the project schedule, including resource loading, critical path analysis, and progress monitoring
  • Manage project budgets, track costs, and prepare financial forecasts

  • Monitor and manage project risks, including the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks and opportunities

  • Ensure accurate and timely project reporting to stakeholders, including progress updates, cost reports, and risk registers

  • Lead and mentor a team of project controls professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field

    At least 15 years of experience in project controls in the Construction industry, with a track record of successful project delivery
  • Candidates MUST be immediately available 
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, practices, and tools, including scheduling, cost control, risk management, and reporting
  • Knowledge of Construction safety and security requirements and regulations
  • Experience in managing a team of project controls professionals
