POWER BI ANALYST

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
• Translate business requirements into insightful visualizations and data models that deliver measurable value.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance of Power BI solutions by implementing best practices in data modeling and DAX.
• Integrate Power BI with data sources including Azure Data Lake, Databricks, SQL databases, and other enterprise platforms.
• Collaborate with business users, data engineers, and data scientists to enable data accessibility and drive self-service BI adoption.
• Monitor report usage and performance, providing recommendations for optimization and training where required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of experience in BI development, data analysis, or reporting roles.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service and Power Query (M).
• Solid understanding of data modeling techniques, star/snowflake schemas, and visual storytelling principles.
• Experience working with data from Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, Data Factory, and other cloud data platforms.
• Familiarity with SQL, and working knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholder requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
