We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation Engineer with 8 to 15 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, specifically with a strong background in offshore projects. The ideal candidate will have prior exposure to Saudi Aramco standards and specifications, with a proven track record in executing detailed engineering and construction support for offshore instrumentation systems.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and review instrumentation design deliverables, including datasheets, loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, instrument index, and cable schedules.
- Ensure compliance with relevant international standards and client specifications, particularly Saudi Aramco standards.
- Support procurement activities by preparing technical requisitions, vendor document reviews, and bid evaluations.
- Interface with multidiscipline engineering teams to ensure coordination and integration of instrumentation systems with overall project design.
- Provide technical support during construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases of offshore facilities.
- Participate in FAT, SAT, and field installation inspections as required.
- Support HAZOP, SIL, and other technical safety studies from an instrumentation perspective.
- Ensure quality and timely delivery of all instrumentation engineering deliverables within budget and schedule constraints.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline.
- 8-15 years of experience in instrumentation engineering within the oil and gas sector, preferably offshore.
- Prior experience working on Saudi Aramco offshore projects is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (IEC, ISA, API, etc.).
- Familiarity with E&I construction methodologies and instrumentation installation best practices.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
