About the job ELV ENGINEER

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ELV Engineer with proven experience in preparing, reviewing, and finalizing red line markups and As-Built drawings for ELV systems in construction and industrial projects. The candidate will work closely with project teams, site engineers, and drafting personnel to ensure accurate documentation during the final handover stages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and verify installed ELV systems (CCTV, access control, PA, BMS, etc.) against approved shop drawings (Issued for Construction).
  • Review and verify approved WIRs (Work Inspection Requests) for ELV installations.
  • Prepare accurate red line markups and As-Built drawings in accordance with project standards and client requirements.
  • Coordinate with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors to obtain approval for redline markups.

  • Ensure As-Built documentation reflects all on-site modifications, variations, and approved changes.

  • Use AutoCAD and other drafting tools to develop or revise layout drawings for ELV systems.

  • Support project handover processes and submission of final documentation.

  • Maintain revision control, track drawing updates, and finalize as-built documentation for handover.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronics, or a related engineering field.

  • Minimum 3-8 years of experience in ELV systems, with at least 2 years focused on shop drawings and As-Built documentation.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM tools is a plus.

  • Familiarity with ELV systems including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, BMS, public address, and structured cabling.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and system specifications.

  • Good communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience in large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects.

  • Understanding of international ELV standards (BS EN, NFPA, ANSI/TIA, etc.).

  • Prior involvement in project close-out and documentation handover stages.
