Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Reinforcement Detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience, with the majority of that time spent in the GCC region, working on high-rise building projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate reinforcement shop drawings and bar bending schedules in compliance with project specifications and international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare reinforcement detailing drawings from structural and architectural plans.
- Generate accurate bar bending schedules (BBS) and reinforcement quantity take-offs.
- Coordinate with structural engineers, site teams, and consultants to ensure clarity and accuracy of detailing.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, international standards (BS, ACI, etc.), and project specifications.
- Review and verify IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings before detailing.
- Modify and revise drawings based on design changes or site conditions.
- Maintain drawing records and document revisions systematically.
- Provide technical support to construction teams as needed.
- Ensure detailing work meets quality and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in reinforcement detailing.
- Extensive experience working in the GCC region, particularly on high-rise building projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and reinforcement detailing software such as CADS RC, RebarCAD, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of structural drawings and rebar detailing standards.
- Familiar with international codes and standards (ACI, BS, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of BIM tools like Revit (Structural) is a plus.
