SENIOR UG ENGINEER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the design and detailed engineering of underground utility networks, including:
- Stormwater and sanitary drainage systems
- Cooling water and fire water networks
- Contaminated and non-contaminated liquid handling systems
- Conduct hydraulic calculations for surface drainage systems (gravity-based and pressurized/liquid-filled systems).
- Prepare conceptual designs and detailed schematics for plumbing and drainage systems in buildings.
- Estimate quantities and prepare bills of materials (BOM), technical documentation, and subcontract packages including scope of work and price schedules.
- Interface and coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams, client representatives, third-party certifiers, subcontractors, and other global workshare offices.
- Review and interact with vendors regarding coating/painting systems, field joint materials, and isometric checks.
- Participate in all project phases including Conceptual Design, FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, and EPIC stages.
- Independently handle UG engineering scope and act as Lead UG Engineer when required.
- Ensure compliance with international codes and standards, client specifications, and project requirements.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree (BE/B.Tech) in Civil or Structural Engineering is mandatory.
- Masters degree (ME/M.Tech) in Structural Engineering is preferred.
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in the design and engineering of underground and general civil works, preferably in the oil & gas or infrastructure sectors.
- Hands-on experience with major clients such as ADNOC, Saudi Aramco, Shell, Total, or other international oil and gas operators.
- Strong technical knowledge and practical aptitude for civil and UG engineering challenges.
- Proficiency in civil and UG design software and tools.
- Strong project documentation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
