We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join our team on offshore oil and gas facilities, drilling rigs and pipelines projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in the preparation of technical specifications, design, vendor coordination, and supporting construction and commissioning activities related to HVAC systems and mechanical equipment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and review HVAC system specifications, datasheets, and technical drawings in compliance with project requirements and international standards.
  • Perform technical evaluation and review of vendor documents and equipment design packages.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integration of HVAC systems with other engineering components.
  • Provide technical support during construction, installation, and commissioning phases.
  • Ensure all designs comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable international codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, API, ISO, IEC).
  • Liaise with vendors, clients, and EPC contractors to resolve design and installation issues.
  • Deliver documentation and reports in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring quality standards are met.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BSc/BE) in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline is required.
  • Master's Degree (MSc/MTech) in a relevant engineering field is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in HVAC engineering within the offshore oil and gas sector, particularly with EPC contractors and/or engineering consultants.
  • Strong background in HVAC systems for offshore platforms, drilling rigs, and pipeline facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of international HVAC design codes and standards.
  • Experience supporting project execution from design through to commissioning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to engineering excellence.
