Senior Structural Engineer to oversee and manage all structural aspects of our construction projects, ensuring that designs are executed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications. This role is key to bridging the gap between the design team (consultants) and the site execution team, ensuring constructability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review structural drawings, specifications, and design documents for constructability and practicality.
  • Provide technical advice and support to site teams during construction.
  • Coordinate with design consultants, architects, and client representatives to resolve design-related issues.
  • Oversee the implementation of structural works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards.
  • Conduct structural inspections, quality checks, and site visits regularly.
  • Approve and monitor method statements, shop drawings, material submittals, and temporary works related to structural activities
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers and site supervisors.
  • Identify risks, propose solutions, and ensure safe execution of structural works.
  • Manage project schedules related to structural works and coordinate closely with planning and project teams.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering (Masters preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in structural engineering, preferably on large-scale infrastructure, industrial, or commercial projects.
  • Strong background working on the contractor side, with hands-on site experience.
  • Proven track record of managing structural works, including concrete, steel, and temporary works.
  • Familiarity with construction methods, sequencing, and challenges.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant codes (IS, BS, Eurocode, ACI, etc.) and software (STAAD Pro, ETABS, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
  • Excellent coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in design-build or EPC projects.
  • Familiarity with BIM workflows.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and safety protocols.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers.
