MECHANICAL ENGINEER

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer with proven experience in preparing, reviewing, and finalizing red line mark ups and As-Built drawings for mechanical systems in construction and industrial projects. The candidate will work closely with project teams, site engineers, and drafting personnel to ensure accurate documentation of final handover stages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify site-installed mechanical systems against approved shop drawings (Issued for Construction) drawings.
• Review and verify approved WIRS ( work inspection requests )
• Prepare accurate red line mark ups , and As-Built drawings in accordance with project standards and client requirements.
• Coordinate with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors to obtain approval for redl line mark ups
• Ensure As-Built documentation reflects all on-site modifications, variations, and approved changes.
• Use AutoCAD or other drafting software to develop or modify mechanical layout drawings (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, etc.).
• Support project handover and documentation submission.
• Maintain revision control and track drawing updates, and finalize handing over for as built .

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-8 years of experience in mechanical systems, with at least 2 years focused on shop drawings , As-Built drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM is a plus.
• Familiarity with HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and drainage systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
