JUNIOR I&C ENGINEER
About the job JUNIOR I&C ENGINEER
We are seeking a qualified Instrumentation Engineer with strong experience in FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) and Detailed Design for onshore oil and gas projects, preferably with ADNOC or similar Middle East operators. The candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of instrumentation engineering deliverables and ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards and specifications.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform instrumentation engineering tasks for FEED and detailed engineering phases of ADNOC onshore oil & gas projects.
- Develop and review instrumentation design deliverables, including:
- Instrument Index, I/O List, Data Sheets
- Instrument Specification and Sizing
- Hook-up Drawings, Cable Schedules, Loop Diagrams
- Control System Architecture (DCS, PLC, ESD, F&G)
- Ensure all engineering work is carried out in accordance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, and international codes (IEC, ISA, API).
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (process, electrical, mechanical, civil) for integrated design.
- Interface with clients, vendors, and subcontractors for technical clarifications and approvals.
- Participate in HAZOP, SIL, and other safety-related reviews and assessments.
- Prepare Material Requisitions and Technical Bid Evaluations for instrumentation equipment.
- Support construction, commissioning, and pre-startup activities as required.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree in Instrumentation/Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 4-8 years of experience in oil & gas industry.
- At least 1 year of experience in FEED and Detail Design for ADNOC onshore projects is mandatory.
- Proficient in instrumentation design software (SPI/INtools, AutoCAD, Aveva E3D, etc.).
- Familiar with ADNOC Engineering Standards and HSE practices.
- Strong communication, coordination, and report writing skills.
- Experience with international EPC companies or design consultants preferred.
