MECHANICAL BIM MODELER

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and manage mechanical BIM models from IFC design stage through to final As-Built.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (electrical, structural, architectural, etc.) to ensure design alignment and resolve clashes.
• Upgrade models to LOD 400 for fabrication and detailed coordination.
• Extract and produce precise 2D Shop Drawings as required by the project.
• Update the model to LOD 500 using site redlines for accurate as-built documentation.
• Implement COBie data as per client and project requirements.
• Follow and maintain standardized BIM documentation workflows, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout all project phase

Key Qualifications :

• Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering,
• Minimum 4 years of experience in BIM modeling for mechanical systems in construction or engineering projects.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP), Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with BIM execution plans, model coordination techniques, and clash detection.
• Knowledge of COBie standards and data structuring within BIM models.
• Ability to interpret and apply redlines and site modifications accurately.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
