We are seeking a qualified and motivated Pipeline Engineer with 5 to 15 years of experience in the offshore oil and gas sector, specializing in EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation) projects and subsea pipeline in-place design. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering pipeline engineering solutions across the full project lifecycle, from concept through detailed design and installation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform engineering analyses for subsea pipelines, including in-place design, global buckling, thermal expansion, and free-span assessments.
  • Develop design documentation such as route selection studies, alignment sheets, stress analysis reports, wall thickness calculations, and installation drawings.
  • Support material selection, pipeline configuration, and routing in coordination with other disciplines.
  • Ensure pipeline designs meet project specifications, industry codes (DNV, ASME, API), and client requirements.
  • Assist in the development of installation procedures and provide technical support during offshore execution.
  • Coordinate with fabrication and installation teams to ensure constructability and offshore readiness.
  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and interface meetings across departments and with clients.
  • Perform pipeline integrity checks and contribute to pipeline engineering deliverables for EPCI tendering and execution phases.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Offshore Engineering (or related discipline).
  • 5-15 years of relevant experience in pipeline engineering for offshore EPCI projects.
  • Proven experience in subsea pipeline in-place design, including detailed stress and stability analyses.
  • Familiarity with software tools such as Offpipe, OrcaFlex, Abaqus, Caesar II, or similar for pipeline analysis.
  • Good understanding of offshore construction techniques and installation methods (S-lay, J-lay, etc.).
  • Knowledge of DNV-ST-F101, API, ASME, and other relevant offshore pipeline design codes.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to work in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment.
