We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CAD Engineer specializing in Wet Utilities with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design and coordination of water, wastewater, and stormwater systems using advanced CAD tools including MicroStation, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Navisworks. This position requires strong technical knowledge of wet utilities infrastructure and the ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed 2D and 3D models and drawings for wet utility systems (potable water, sewer, and stormwater).

  • Utilize MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and Navisworks to develop design layouts, profiles, sections, and utility coordination models.

  • Interpret and apply relevant local authority and international utility design standards.

  • Collaborate with civil engineers, BIM coordinators, and other disciplines to integrate designs in large-scale infrastructure projects.

  • Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts using Navisworks.

  • Assist in preparing design documentation, quantity take-offs, and as-built drawings.

  • Ensure CAD/BIM standards and quality control measures are followed throughout project stages.

  • Support the development of CAD libraries, templates, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a CAD Technician or Engineer in the design of wet utility systems.

  • Proficient in MicroStation (mandatory), AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Navisworks Manage.

  • Strong understanding of utility design principles and construction documentation.

  • Familiarity with utility coordination in large infrastructure or urban development projects.

  • Experience with BIM workflows and data management is an advantage.

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related technical field.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
