We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer with proven experience in preparing, reviewing, and finalizing red line markups and As-Built drawings for electrical systems in construction and industrial projects. The candidate will collaborate closely with project teams, site engineers, and drafting personnel to ensure accurate and compliant documentation during the final handover stages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and verify site-installed electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, grounding, etc.) against approved shop drawings (Issued for Construction).
  • Review and verify approved Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) for electrical installations.

  • Prepare precise red line markups and As-Built drawings in line with project specifications and client requirements.
  • Coordinate with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors to obtain approvals for redline markups.

  • Ensure As-Built documentation accurately reflects all site changes, variations, and approved modifications.

  • Utilize AutoCAD or other drafting software to develop and update electrical layout drawings (LV/MV systems, lighting, containment, etc.).

  • Support project close-out, including preparation and submission of final As-Built packages.

  • Maintain revision control and track all drawing updates through to final handover.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

  • Minimum 3-8 years of experience in electrical systems, with at least 2 years focused on shop drawings and As-Built drawings.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit/BIM is an added advantage.

  • Solid understanding of LV/MV distribution, lighting, earthing, and panel board layouts.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical design drawings and technical specifications.

  • Strong communication and coordination skills across engineering and construction teams.

  • Experience in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.

  • Knowledge of international electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, IEEE).

  • Prior involvement in project close-out documentation and handover procedures.
