QUANTITY SURVEYOR - MECHANICAL

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare and review mechanical quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates.
  
• Assist in the preparation and evaluation of tender documents and subcontractor packages.
  
• Monitor and control project costs, budgets, and cash flow.
  
• Review and validate subcontractor and supplier invoices and claims.
  
• Manage and assess variations, change orders, and cost impacts.
  
• Participate in site inspections and progress tracking.
  
• Prepare monthly progress valuations and final accounts.
  
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, and clients.
  

Key Requirements :

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor.
  
• Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or a Diploma in Quantity Surveying.
  
• Proven experience working with contractor firms on infrastructure projects (e.g., utilities, pumping stations, MEP for roads, etc.).
  
• Strong understanding of contract conditions, cost control, and procurement processes.
  
• Proficiency in QS software/tools and MS Office.
  
• Must be locally available in Qatar with a valid QID.
  
• Must be able to join immediately upon selection.
