STRUCTURAL (BRIDGE) BIM MODELER

Job summary:

We are seeking an experienced CAD Engineer specializing in bridge structures with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in developing detailed structural drawings using MicroStation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing 2D/3D models, drawings, and construction documentation for a variety of bridge and transportation infrastructure projects, ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to project standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed drawings and models for bridge structures using MicroStation

• Support structural engineers by translating design sketches and calculations into accurate construction drawings

• Develop plans, elevations, sections, and reinforcement details for bridge superstructures and substructures

• Coordinate with other disciplines (road, drainage, geotechnical) to ensure design integration

• Review and incorporate design markups and redlines

• Maintain CAD standards and follow project-specific workflows and file management practices

• Assist in clash detection and 3D modeling (if applicable)

• Ensure all deliverables comply with client and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in bridge drafting and detailing using MicroStation

• Solid understanding of bridge structural components, materials, and construction techniques

• Familiarity with various types of bridges (e.g., concrete, steel, precast, cable-stayed)

• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, specifications, and codes

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drafting

• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
