RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborating with subject matter experts to gather and comprehend technical information concerning products and services.
- Translating intricate technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation tailored to the target audience.
- Producing high-quality technical documentation, such as user guides, manuals, API documentation, and online help systems.
- Organizing and structuring information effectively to ensure easy navigation and comprehension by end-users.
- Participating in document reviews and revisions to maintain accuracy, completeness, and consistency in content.
- Updating existing documentation to reflect product changes, enhancements, or new features.
- Ensuring documentation complies with industry standards, company guidelines, and branding requirements.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including software developers, product managers, and quality assurance engineers.
- Staying updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices in technical writing.
- Demonstrating strong attention to detail, excellent writing skills, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines.
- Utilizing documentation tools such as Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, or Markdown to create and manage content effectively.
- Providing support and training to internal stakeholders on using documentation effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience as a technical writer, preferably in the software or technology industry.
- Proficiency in written English and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
- Familiarity with documentation tools and software, such as Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, Microsoft Word, or Confluence.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and XML is a plus.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and content management systems (e.g., SharePoint) is desirable.
