About the job ELECTRICAL BIM MODELER

Key Responsibilities :

  • Create and manage electrical BIM models from IFC stage, upgrading them progressively to LOD 400 and LOD 500.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines (architectural, structural, mechanical, etc.) to ensure model consistency and resolve design conflicts.
  • Extract and prepare detailed 2D electrical shop drawings from BIM models as per project requirements.
  • Update the model with site redlines and modifications for final as-built deliverables.
  • Implement COBie data as required for facility management handover and project close-out.
  • Follow established BIM documentation workflows and standards to maintain consistency and accuracy across project phases.

  • Key Qualifications :

    • Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering,
    • Minimum 4 years of experience in BIM modeling for electrical systems in construction or engineering projects.

    • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Electrical), Navisworks, and AutoCAD.

    • Familiarity with BIM execution plans, model coordination techniques, and clash detection.

    • Knowledge of COBie standards and data structuring within BIM models.

    • Ability to interpret and apply redlines and site modifications accurately.

    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
