PIPING ENGINEER

We are seeking an experienced Piping Engineer to join our offshore project engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in piping systems, materials engineering, and layout development, with hands-on experience in offshore projects preferably with Saudi Aramco.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and perform piping design and engineering for offshore oil & gas facilities, ensuring compliance with client specifications, industry standards (ASME, API, ANSI), and Saudi Aramco requirements.
• Conduct pipe stress analysis, material selection, and technical bid evaluations for piping components.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables including Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), piping layout drawings, isometrics, and MTOs.
• Provide engineering support during design, procurement, fabrication, and offshore installation phases.
• Coordinate closely with layout, process, structural, and instrumentation teams to optimize routing and ensure multidisciplinary integration.
• Review vendor documentation and ensure alignment with project specifications and offshore installation requirements.
• Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and HAZOP/HAZID workshops.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in piping engineering for offshore oil & gas projects.
• Proven expertise in materials engineering, pipe specs, and layout design.
• Working knowledge of 3D modeling and layout tools (e.g., PDMS, E3D, or similar).
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards and offshore design practices is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of corrosion-resistant materials, offshore installation constraints, and safety design principles.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
