About the job ELECTRICAL BIM MODELER

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with electrical engineers and other team members to develop detailed design plans for power distribution and lighting systems using Autodesk Revit 2020 or latest version.

Create accurate and comprehensive 3D models of electrical systems, incorporating power distribution, lighting fixtures, and related components.

Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure proper integration and coordination of electrical elements within the overall building model.

Generate detailed drawings, schedules, and documentation to effectively communicate design intent to internal teams, clients, and contractors.

Contribute to lighting design efforts, specifying fixtures and ensuring appropriate lighting levels for different building spaces.

Design power distribution systems, including panel layouts, circuiting, and load calculations.

Participate actively in Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes, fostering collaboration and coordination among various project stakeholders.

Manage and update Revit models throughout the design and construction phases, incorporating revisions and changes as required.

Conduct regular quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of the electrical models and associated documentation.

Key Qualifications:

- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit software with a focus on electrical systems.

- Strong understanding of electrical design principles, codes, and standards.

- Relevant education or experience in electrical engineering or a related field.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Familiarity with BIM processes and collaboration tools.

- Previous experience as an Electrical Revit Modeler or similar role is preferred.

- Experience working on commercial, residential, or industrial projects is advantageous.
