We are looking for a qualified Civil Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in wet and dry utility design using Autodesk Civil 3D. The ideal candidate will have prior work experience in the GCC and a solid understanding of local authority regulations. This role focuses on the design, coordination, and documentation of utility networks (stormwater, sewer, water, irrigation, electrical, telecom) for infrastructure and land development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed designs of wet utilities (sewer, stormwater, potable water, irrigation) and dry utilities (electrical, telecom) using Autodesk Civil 3D.

  • Develop horizontal alignments, pipe networks, and profiles for utility systems in compliance with project standards.

  • Generate utility layouts, longitudinal sections, and construction documentation.

  • Perform hydraulic and network calculations using relevant tools (e.g., EPA SWMM, StormCAD, WaterCAD).

  • Ensure coordination with road, structural, landscape, and other disciplines to avoid clashes and service conflicts.

  • Support BIM workflows and participate in clash detection reviews using Navisworks or similar tools.

  • Produce Bill of Quantities (BOQs), material specifications, and design reports.

  • Ensure compliance with GCC authority standards (Ashghal, ADM, DEWA, SEWA, RTA, NWC, etc.).

  • Participate in design review meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors as required.

  • Provide technical guidance to CAD technicians or junior engineers.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including 23 years on GCC-based projects.

  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D (especially pipe networks, pressure/gravity systems, surfaces, alignments).

  • Familiar with utility design standards and practices in the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, etc.

  • Experience with hydraulic modeling tools is a plus.

  • Understanding of BIM coordination tools such as Navisworks or BIM 360 is advantageous.

  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred:

  • Experience with large-scale master planning or infrastructure developments in the GCC.

  • Familiarity with local submission requirements (e.g., Ashghal Drainage Design Manual, NWC standards).

  • Autodesk or Bentley software certifications.

  • Willingness to travel or relocate for on-site roles as needed.
