We are currently looking for a Senior Civil Engineer with strong expertise in the engineering design and development of onshore oil and gas facilities. The ideal candidate will bring at least 10 years of experience, with a deep understanding of FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detailed Design phases. Experience on ADNOC projects or with ADNOC group companies is highly preferred.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and oversee the civil and structural design activities during the FEED and Detailed Engineering phases of onshore projects.
- Prepare and review engineering deliverables such as design reports, drawings, specifications, and calculations for civil, structural, and infrastructure works (e.g., foundations, roads, drainage, buildings, pipe racks).
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (e.g., piping, mechanical, electrical) to ensure technical alignment.
- Ensure all civil and structural designs comply with project specifications, industry standards, and local regulations, including ADNOC standards.
- Conduct technical evaluations, support constructability reviews, and provide inputs to planning and cost estimation teams.
- Participate in design review meetings, client presentations, and interface coordination with stakeholders.
- Review and resolve technical queries from contractors, vendors, and other engineering departments.
- Support site teams during early construction planning and pre-construction activities, as needed.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in civil and structural engineering for onshore oil and gas projects.
- Strong knowledge and experience in FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detailed Design phases.
- Proficiency in design software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related tools.
- Solid understanding of international design codes (e.g., ACI, AISC, BS, Eurocode) and ADNOC standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical work and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- ADNOC project experience is a significant advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Masters degree or postgraduate certification in structural or geotechnical engineering.
- Experience with PMC or EPC contractors working on ADNOC or similar clients.
