CIVIL/ARCHITECTURE INSPECTOR

Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily on-site inspections of architectural and civil works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, building codes, and quality standards.
- Verify construction activities and materials used align with project documentation and regulatory requirements.

Identify and report any non-conformities, defects, or quality issues, and follow up on corrective actions.

Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, daily site logs, and photographic records.

Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to resolve site issues and ensure smooth project execution.

Participate in site meetings, inspections, and testing of materials and installations.

Ensure adherence to safety protocols and project timelines.

Support project handover by verifying that works are completed in accordance with client and regulatory requirements.

Provide technical advice and ensure the implementation of architectural best practices.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of total experience, with at least 5 years in hospitality (5-star hotels), high-rise residential, or villa development projects.
- Proven experience working in consultancy firms with strong understanding of design review and compliance processes.
- In-depth knowledge of international and local building codes, architectural principles, and construction techniques.
- Strong attention to detail with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other relevant software.
- Professional certifications (e.g. Building Inspector, LEED AP) are an advantage.
