Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation and coordination of MEP BIM models at the construction site.
  • Work closely with site engineers, construction managers, subcontractors, and BIM teams to ensure the latest model information is accurate and aligned with site conditions.
  • Facilitate daily/weekly coordination meetings to resolve spatial clashes and installation conflicts using tools such as Navisworks, Revit, and BIM 360.
  • Review shop drawings, model updates, and redlines to ensure compliance with design intent and site requirements.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify installations are aligned with coordinated BIM models.
  • Update models based on site changes, RFIs, and approved design modifications.
  • Ensure adherence to BIM Execution Plan (BEP), company BIM standards, and project LOD requirements.
  • Support 4D/5D simulations and construction sequencing as required.
  • Provide technical BIM support to field teams and assist in model-based quantity take-offs or procurement tracking.
  • Collaborate with QA/QC and commissioning teams to ensure as-built data and asset tagging are integrated into final models for handover.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in BIM coordination for MEP systems, including at least 2 years in a site-based role.
  • Previous experience working for an Engineering Consultant will be an advantage.
  • Advanced knowledge of Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD MEP, and Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems installation, sequencing, and construction processes.
  • Familiarity with international BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650, PAS 1192).
  • Experience in reviewing and coordinating subcontractor models and shop drawings.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and site layout constraints.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced site environment.
