We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Interior Engineer to support the planning, detailing, and execution of interior fit-out and renovation projects. The successful candidate will collaborate with designers, architects, and contractors to ensure that interior projects meet design intent, technical standards, and project timelines. This role involves preparing shop drawings, overseeing site installations, and coordinating between stakeholders for smooth project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret interior design concepts and convert them into technical drawings and construction documents.
  • Prepare and revise shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
  • Develop joinery, false ceiling, partition, and millwork detailing.

  • Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, codes, and standards.

  • Coordinate with architects, designers, engineers (MEP, structural), and subcontractors to ensure seamless project integration.
  • Assist in the selection and approval of materials, finishes, and systems as per design and client requirements.
  • Attend coordination meetings, site walks, and technical reviews to identify and resolve issues proactively.
  • Provide technical support on-site during installation and fit-out works.
  • Monitor work progress and ensure adherence to technical specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and building regulations.
  • Ensure all construction work aligns with technical drawings, approved materials, and design intent.
  • Work closely with QA/QC teams to resolve any technical deviations or non-conformities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bachelors degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in interior fit-out projects, with a solid understanding of construction detailing.
  • Experience with high-end residential, hospitality, or commercial interiors.
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project)
  • Exposure to sustainable design and green building practices (e.g., LEED, WELL) is an advantage.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (optional), and Microsoft Office; knowledge of SketchUp or 3D visualization tools is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of materials, finishes, joinery, and furniture installation.

  • Knowledge of local building codes, fire safety, and accessibility standards.

  • Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
