AI MATURITY AND INTERNATIONAL BENCHMARKING SPECIALIST (TRANSPORT, TRAFFIC)

We're looking for an AI Maturity and International Benchmarking Specialist to assess an organisation's current AI maturity and benchmark it against leading transport authorities and comparable institutions internationally. This role builds the evidence base that shapes the wider AI transformation roadmap.

What you'll be doing:

• Assessing current-state AI maturity across people, process, technology, and governance dimensions
• Designing and applying a structured maturity framework
• Researching and benchmarking against international peer organisations, including coordinating and conducting benchmarking visits
• Synthesising findings into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership

What we're looking for:

• Strong working knowledge of maturity assessment frameworks (e.g. ISO/IEC 42001, CMMI, DAMA-DMBOK, or equivalent)
• A track record of running international benchmarking exercises or comparative research studies
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills — able to turn complex, cross-organisational research into a clear narrative
• Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders to validate findings
• Experience in AI strategy, digital maturity, or transformation consulting preferred
