MEP SITE ENGINEER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and coordinate MEP site works (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Review and interpret MEP shop drawings, technical submittals, and method statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor daily site activities and ensure work progress aligns with project timelines and milestones.
• Coordinate with civil and architectural teams to resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Ensure proper installation of MEP services (HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, drainage, and electrical systems).
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and testing & commissioning (T&C) in line with project QA/QC procedures.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely approvals and smooth workflow.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, material requests, and site correspondence.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote safe working practices on site.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings, snag lists, and project handover documentation.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP Engineering (or related field).
• Minimum 5 years of UAE/GCC experiene in MEP site execution for large-scale projects (e.g., high-rise buildings, commercial, mixed-use, or infrastructure).
• Must be currently based in the UAE and available to join immediately.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and electrical systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and familiar with Revit MEP (advantage).

• Knowledge of local UAE/GCC standards and authority regulations (DEWA, ADDC, DM, DCD, etc.).

• Experience in site coordination, materials inspection, and MEP interface management.
