PROCESS ENGINEER
About the job PROCESS ENGINEER
The Process Engineer will play a key role in FEED, EPC, and commissioning phases of ADNOC Onshore projects.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and review process engineering deliverables (PFDs, P&IDs, HMBs, datasheets, process simulations) for ADNOC Onshore facilities.
- Ensure engineering designs comply with ADNOC standards, local regulations, and international codes (API, ASME, ISO, etc.).
- Conduct process simulations using software such as HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or similar tools.
- Perform equipment sizing and calculations for pumps, compressors, separators, heat exchangers, etc.
- Participate in HAZOP, SIL, and other safety studies in coordination with ADNOC representatives.
- Provide technical support during procurement, construction, and commissioning stages.
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, piping) to ensure integrated engineering solutions.
- Liaise with ADNOC stakeholders for approvals and technical clarifications.
- Support troubleshooting activities for operational facilities as needed.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 510 years of experience in process engineering within the Oil & Gas sector, with at least 3 years on ADNOC Onshore projects.
- Strong familiarity with ADNOC standards and approval processes.
- Proficient in process simulation and design tools (HYSYS, Aspen Plus, Pipesim, etc.).
- Knowledge of relevant international design codes and safety standards.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- ADNOC Approved Process Engineer (if applicable) (Preferred)
- Experience in sour gas, water injection, gas dehydration, or crude stabilization systems. (Preferred)
- Previous involvement in FEED/EPC phases for ADNOC Onshore projects. (Preferred)
- Familiarity with SmartPlant, Aveva Diagrams, or other engineering design software. (Preferred)
