DIGITAL CHANNELS TESTING ARCHITECT (ISTQB)

Senior Individual Contributor (L4) | Reports to: Manual Lead / Architect

• A senior individual contributor with architect-level technical authority for Tier 2-3 manual testing and digital channels. You will own the coverage trajectory for a broad application portfolio and drive testing depth across web, mobile, and omnichannel banking platforms. No people-management responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect the Tier 2-3 manual test coverage approach across the application portfolio
• Own digital-channel testing depth across retail internet banking, corporate internet banking, mobile, and DXP platforms
• Drive coverage trajectory targets from Year 1 to Year 3 across in-scope Tier 2-3 applications
• Peer-review Test Analyst work on Tier 2-3 test cases
• Coordinate digital-cluster flex engineer support
• Partner with the Manual Lead/Architect on cross-tier methodology alignment
• Support TMMi audit evidence gathering for Tier 2-3 applications

Essential Skills Required

• 8+ years in manual testing with at least 2 years focused on digital channels (web, mobile, omnichannel)
• ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst certification
• Deep manual test design experience on digital banking or e-commerce platforms
• Cross-channel test orchestration capability
• Proficiency with test management tools (Jira, Zephyr, Xray)
• Experience with mobile device-lab coordination
• Risk-based test prioritisation across Tier 2-3 applications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Desirable Skills

• Banking or financial services digital-channel experience (internet banking, mobile banking, DXP)
• Experience with API surface testing in a digital context
• Familiarity with TMMi frameworks and audit evidence requirements
• Experience with omnichannel and cross-platform regression testing programmes
