About the job MECHANICAL BIM MODELER ( WET UTILITIES)

Mechanical Modeler will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining 3D BIM models for wet utility systems, including potable water networks, firefighting networks, stormwater drainage, irrigation, and sewer systems for infrastructure projects. The role involves close collaboration with design engineers, BIM coordinators, and other discipline modelers to ensure accurate, clash-free, and constructible designs aligned with project and BIM standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM/Revit/Civil 3D models for wet utility systems (water supply, firefighting, stormwater, sewerage, irrigation).
  • Generate accurate shop drawings, installation drawings, and as-built drawings from models.
  • Coordinate models with structural, civil, electrical, and other MEP disciplines to ensure integration and avoid clashes.
  • Perform clash detection using Navisworks (or similar software) and resolve conflicts in coordination with engineers.
