Structural Modeler will be responsible for developing and managing 3D BIM/Revit models for infrastructure projects, specifically focusing on roads, highways, bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and utility networks. The role involves close coordination with design engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accurate, efficient, and constructible models are delivered in line with project requirements and BIM standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, update, and maintain 3D structural models using Revit, Civil 3D, and other BIM tools for roads, bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and utilities.
  • Produce accurate drawings, shop drawings, sections, and construction details from models.
  • Coordinate with civil, structural, and MEP teams to ensure model integration and clash-free design.
  • Implement BIM execution plans, standards, and protocols on all assigned projects.
  • Review and interpret design inputs from engineers and consultants into constructible BIM models.
  • Conduct clash detection and resolve modeling issues in collaboration with other disciplines.
  • Generate quantity take-offs, schedules, and reports from the model as required
  • Support engineers in design modifications and ensure updates are reflected in the BIM model.
  • Ensure compliance with international and local standards (AASHTO, MOT, ACI, etc.) related to infrastructure modeling.
  • Provide technical support for construction teams by producing clear and accurate model outputs.

Key Qualification:

  • Bachelor in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

  • Minimum 3-7 years of experience as a structural/CAD/BIM modeler, preferably on large infrastructure projects (roads, highways, bridges, utilities).
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD (knowledge of Infraworks is a plus).

  • Good understanding of structural detailing and construction methods for infrastructure works.

  • Familiarity with BIM standards (ISO 19650, ACI, AASHTO, MOT standards).

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and surveys.

  • Strong coordination and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

  • Experience with Saudi Arabian infrastructure projects or Middle East regulations

  • BIM certification is an added advantage
