SENIOR INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROL DESIGNER

As a Senior I&C Designer, you will lead the production and coordination of I&C design drawings and models for offshore oil & gas projects. Manages a team of designers and ensures deliverables are accurate and compliant with project and engineering standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead production of I&C design drawings including loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, junction box layouts, and cable schedules
• Develop and manage instrument layout drawings and installation details
• Coordinate with I&C engineers and multi-discipline design teams to resolve interface issues
• Review and check drawings prepared by junior designers
• Maintain instrument drawing registers and ensure document control compliance
• Support the development of 3D instrument models within PDMS or SP3D
• Mentor and supervise junior I&C designers
• Participate in model reviews and design coordination meetings

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or Drafting
• 13+ years of experience in I&C design/drafting for offshore oil & gas projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, PDMS, SP3D, and/or Smart Plant Instrumentation
• Strong knowledge of instrument installation standards and loop drawing conventions
• Familiarity with offshore project design requirements and documentation standards
• Good leadership, coordination, and mentoring skills
