Position: Accountant | Regional Liaison (Hong Kong & Singapore)

You will manage the financial foundations of Hong Kong office , providing a reliable link between local operations, Singapore Regional HQ, and parent company.

Your Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Controller & Reporting

• Full-Cycle Accounting: Maintain the full set of accounts (GL, AP, AR) for the HK office, ensuring seamless reporting to the Regional Headquarters .
• Compliance Leadership: Oversee payroll, MPF, and statutory filings. Lead the finalization of annual audits and collaborate with HQ on Global Minimum Tax and IRD requirements.
• Reporting Excellence: Review Joint Venture financial statements prepared by partners and translate complex data into standardized group reporting formats.

2. Treasury & Cash Management

• Strategic Liquidity: Optimize cash flow and manage bank time deposits to ensure capital efficiency.
• Banking Partnerships: Serve as the primary point of contact for local financial institutions, overseeing loan arrangements and daily banking logistics.

3. Regional Liaison & Strategic Support

• Stakeholder Management: Act as the "bridge" between difficult countries, facilitating smooth data flow and resolving financial discrepancies across borders.
• Executive Partnership: Provide direct support to the General Manager, attending high-level meetings with consultants, auditors, and financial institutions.
• Budgeting: Shape the future of the office by assisting in the preparation of mid-year and 5-year financial projections.

Who You Are

• A Finance Professional: You hold a Degree in Accounting/Finance. CPA (HKICPA/ACCA) or an Audit Firm background is highly preferred.
• Experienced: You have at least 3 years of robust, all-around accounting experience.
• A Communicator: Business level in English and Communication level in Cantonese. You can explain "the story behind the numbers" to stakeholders across different regions.
• Independent & Organized: You thrive in a small-team environment and are comfortable managing both high-level analysis and necessary administrative details.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in computerized accounting systems and advanced MS Excel.
