About the Job

Our client is a well-established Japanese commercial equipment specialist known for its precision and quality. They are currently seeking a dedicated and meticulous Accounting professional to join their Hong Kong office for a 3 to 6-month contract period. This role is ideal for an independent worker who thrives in a small-to-medium enterprise (SME) environment and values a professional, culturally-attuned workplace. You will manage the daily financial pulse of the office while working closely with the Director.

Job Responsibilities

  • Handle full set of accounts and daily accounting operations including journal entries.
  • Manage payroll calculation and processing for the Hong Kong office.
  • Perform data entry into the accounting system and manage various payment settlements.
  • Assist in the preparation of month-end closing and financial statements.
  • Provide administrative support related to financial documentation as required.

Requirements

  • at least 4 years related working experience and able to handle full set accounting.
  • Proficiency in MYOB accounting software is a must.
  • Strong PC skills, including advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Email applications.
  • Understanding of Japanese corporate culture or business etiquette is a significant advantage.
  • High level of accuracy, responsibility, and the ability to work independently.
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred.


Benefits

  • Monthly salary around HKD 30,000 (depending on experience)
